Privacy statement agreement and marketing

Your personal data (name, company name, email address, phone) are processed by MachineWorld for customer management purposes based on the contractual relationship as a result of your assignment/placed order in the context of various legal obligations (our liability, retention obligation, accounting law) and for direct marketing (to possibly offer you new services) based on our legitimate interest to conduct business. Processing is always done by the business manager.

We inform you that in the course of the assignment granted to us/execution of placed orders, we cannot delete your data in order to ensure our services. After the ending of the assignment (possibly by you), we are obliged to retain your personal data for another 10 years within the framework of legal obligations applicable to us. The data from you that we then save and archive will only be the necessary data within the context of the legal obligation.

We draw your attention to the fact that your personal data may be communicated by us to third bodies in the context of the order granted to us and with the fulfilment of a legal obligation. You can always consult us in this respect and we will then inform you which authority is in possession of your data.

If you do not want us to process your data for direct marketing purposes, it is sufficient to inform us at info@machineworld.be. At this address you can also always ask what data on you we process and have it corrected or deleted (the latter as far as possible within the framework of the assignment/order placed and the law).

Should your data passed to us be incorrect and you request its correction, you may always to the extent possible request that the processing of the data be restricted.

All services performed within the context of the rights granted to you under the General Data Processing Regulation are free of charge to the extent reasonably possible.

Should you disagree with the way in which we process your data, you can approach the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels).
